St Georges Basin Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated Fellowed General Practitioner to join our esteemed team. We offer flexible opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions, with adaptable rostering options to accommodate your preferences. Our practice is currently mixed billing, with plans to transition to private billing over the coming months to years.
Our clinic is recognized for its leadership in chronic disease management, with a strong emphasis on disease prevention. We utilize a well-structured approach to GP management plan preparation and execution, supported by a state-of-the-art reminder system for both patients and doctors. Additionally, we have a full-time practice nurse with a specialized interest in chronic disease management and veterans’ health.
The facility includes four consulting rooms with natural lighting, a dedicated nurses’ room, an indoor tea room, an outdoor patio, and rear parking for doctors. Conveniently located near cafes and a shopping center, we also have potential for expansion and increased room availability. We are open to the possibility of establishing additional sites with the right team.
Our patient population includes a significant number of retired individuals, so a strong interest in chronic disease and aged care is essential. Our demographics are nearly balanced between male and female patients. With the ongoing expansion of St Georges Basin and surrounding areas—including new infrastructure and housing developments—our practice anticipates an increase in young children and young families in the near future.
